WHEN I’M GONE, PLEASE DELETE MY VOICE MEMOS is a performance-installation composed for light and sound, which is based on interferences of a skype conversation and on voice memos recorded on cell phones. The piece is centered around a dialogue about connection and otherness, involvement and exclusion.
Niskanen & Salo is an artist duo based in Helsinki and New York City. Their installations often combine light, sound, video, and everyday objects to create platforms for many forms of human interaction, surprising encounters, and intense rendezvous between strangers.
