Finnish illustrator and graphic designer Lotta Nieminen arrives to Budapest to prepare a new exhibition Metropolis Landscapes. The exhibition consists of silkscreen prints, that represent Budapest and its urban environment.
The exhibition opening will be held on Thursday 26th July, beginning at 7pm.
Lotta Nieminen is one of the most interesting contemporary Finnish illustrators. Nieminen has graduated from the University of Art and Design in Helsinki and Rhode Island School of Design and currently lives and works in New York City and Helsinki. Her recognizable style has been seen in various Finnish and foreign magazines, advertisements and books. Nieminen's works were last seen in Budapest in February 2012 in Pekka of Finland illustration exhibition, that introduced the works of the hottest new Finnish illustrators for the Hungarian audience.
The new prints of the exhibition will be made as silkscreen prints in Printa Akadémia, where the exhibition will be open for the audience 26. July - 23. September 2012.
Lotta Nieminen will tell about her own work as an independent artist on 25th July at 7pm in Brody House (Bródy Sándor utca 10, 1088 Budapest).
