Many talented, successful and even world famous illustrators live and work in today’s Finland. Their works fill the covers and pages of the most well-known international magazines, appear on album covers, dresses, homepages and of course, on commercial campaigns.

There is just one tiny litle problem: they remain relatively unknown to us as their works are most often anonymous. However, soon this trend will come to its end in Budapest.  A coming-out exhibition will be opened on February 9th in kArton Galéria, which puts the illustrator-authors to the focus.

The works of the exhibition were created directly to become ambassadors of the Finnish illustration knowhow during the World Design Capital Helsinki program series throughout 2012.
